The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), in alliance with the BJP in Haryana for over four years, has kicked off its election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Haryana Assembly elections, aptly named 'Mission 2024.' The party commenced its campaign with a rally in the GT Road Belt, a stronghold of the BJP in Haryana.

Prominent Rally in Karnal:

A significant rally took place in Karnal, the home district of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, where JJP workers chanted slogans in support of Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala for the position of Chief Minister. The event, named "Nav Sankalp Rally," unfolded in the Gharaunda grain market in Karnal district.

Mission 2024 Declaration:

During the rally, JJP's National President, Ajay Chautala, declared the beginning of 'Mission 2024,' emphasising the party's aim to secure victories in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. There are speculations that the state might witness simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

JJP's Previous Electoral Performance:

Recalling the 2019 elections, JJP made significant gains in the GT Road Belt, securing 2 seats, while the BJP and Congress won 15 and 12 seats, respectively. The party has garnered favour in the region, particularly in areas where it clinched victories, contributing to its success in the previous Assembly elections.

Government's Initiatives Highlighted:

Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala spoke about the government's achievements during the rally, emphasising the direct transfer of crop proceeds to farmers' bank accounts within two days of selling. He also highlighted the swift compensation provided through the Khatiyan portal for farmers facing losses during the implementation of the three agricultural laws.

Empowering Women and E-Governance:

Ajay Chautala pointed out the state government's commitment to women's empowerment, showcasing the reservation of 50% seats for women in Panchayati Raj institutions. He also emphasised the use of Common Service Centres (CSC) to facilitate easy access to land records and various government services, enabling citizens to benefit from schemes and services online.

Conclusion:

As the JJP embarks on its 'Mission 2024,' the early election campaign indicates the party's strategic approach to secure victories in both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The rallies underscore the party's commitment to addressing public concerns and showcasing its achievements, setting the tone for an intense political landscape in Haryana.
