Haryana CM Saini Meets PM Modi, Promises 'Triple Government' After Municipal Elections

Chief Minister Assures Prime Minister of BJP Victory in March 2 Polls, Discusses Organizational Matters and Development Vision for Haryana.

Chief Minister Nayab Saini with PM Narendra Modi

With just hours remaining before the campaign for the March 2 municipal elections comes to a close, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini made an important visit to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the meeting, Saini confidently assured the Prime Minister of forming what he termed a "triple government" in the state.

Commitment to Accelerated Development

Taking to social media after the meeting, Chief Minister Saini revealed that he had been summoned by the Prime Minister for discussions in the national capital. "I met the PM and assured him that Haryana will have a triple-engine government after the MC polls on the strength of development works," Saini stated in his post.

The Chief Minister stated that the current "double-engine government" - referring to the BJP's government at both the central and state governments - is already accelerating Haryana's development at three times the normal pace. He expressed confidence that Haryana would maintain its position as a leader in development initiatives across the country.

Vision for Viksit Bharat 2047

Speaking as a representative of Haryana's 2.8 crore citizens, Saini reassured Prime Minister Modi that the state would play a pivotal role in the vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. He emphasized that the BJP government's inclusive development approach of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" would be instrumental in achieving the dream of a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India).

Organizational Matters on the Agenda

Sources indicate that the meeting between Saini and Modi, along with a separate discussion with Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, addressed organizational matters within the party as well. The BJP's organizational restructuring process was temporarily paused when the municipal elections were announced in Haryana.

Currently, elections for district BJP presidents are underway. The party plans to complete the election process for the state BJP chief following the municipal election results.

Congress will Score Zero

Taking a dig at the opposition, Chief Minister Saini predicted that "the Congress will repeat its Delhi performance by scoring a zero in the upcoming municipal elections in Haryana on March 2." He expressed full confidence that the BJP is "on the way to forming a 'triple-engine' government" in the state.
