This Two-Time Minister Has Not Only Built a ₹101 Crore Business Empire But Also Set World Records in Public Service, From Hoisting India's Tallest Flag to Planting 2.35 Lakh Trees in Two Hours.

Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel

Vipul Goel was born on April 25, 1972 and followed his father Rotash Chand Goel's entrepreneurial path after his B.Com from Delhi University in 1992. Vipul Goel ia married to Pallavi Goel and is father of one sons and two daughters. Minister Goel has built a solid business along with maintaining his focus on social service. His current declared assets of ₹101.8 crore, with ₹41.2 crore in movable and ₹60.7 crore in immovable assets, showcase his business acumen.

Political Journey and Notable Achievements

Goel's political career began with his first victory in 2014 by winning his faridabad Assembly seat by 48,000 votes. He was appointed as Industries and Environment Minister in 2016 under CM Manohar Lal Khattar due to his performace and dedication. Goel achieved remarkable improvement in Haryana's Ease of Doing Business ranking accelerating it from 14th position to 3rd position nationally. 

Goel was denied ticket by BJP in 2019 Haryana Assembly elections but Goel demonstrated his loyalty by refusing to contest as an independent. He continued his social service for 5 years without holding any official position and demonstrated his dedication to BJP which he oftens refers to as his 'mother'. His loyalty was rewarded when he was given ticket in 2024 Assembly elections and eventually he won it with significant margin, leading to his current ministerial position. 

Landmark Projects and World Records 

  • As chairman of Navchetna Trust, he initiated several groundbreaking projects:
  • Installation of India's tallest national flag (250 feet) in Faridabad, entered in Limca Book of Records
  • Establishment of a ₹10 meal canteen at BK Hospital, serving thousands daily
  • Setting a Guinness World Record by planting 2.35 lakh trees in 2 hours
  • Introduction of free WiFi service in Sector 15 market
  • Numerous environmental conservation initiatives 

Current Role and Future Vision

Now serving as Revenue & Disaster Management, Urban Local Bodies, and Civil Aviation Minister in CM Saini's cabinet, Goel has received an enthusiastic welcome from constituents. His return to Faridabad saw massive public celebrations, reflecting high expectations for continued development initiatives. His focus areas include urban infrastructure development, environmental conservation, revenue system modernization, civil aviation expansion and disaster management preparedness.
