
Nominations for Panipat's municipal elections will be accepted from February 21 to February 27, excluding Sunday (February 23) and Mahashivratri (February 26). The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on February 28, with candidates having the option to withdraw their nominations on March 1 between 11 AM and 3 PM.
Voting Process and Infrastructure
The election commission has established 365 polling booths across 26 wards to facilitate voting for 4,08,534 registered voters, including:
- 2,17,559 male voters
- 1,90,962 female voters
- 13 other voters
Voting will take place on March 9 from 8 AM to 6 PM, with results to be declared on March 12 following counting from 8 AM.
Candidate Support System
A single-window system has been established at the district level to provide all necessary NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to candidates. Election symbols will be allocated on March 1 after 3 PM, followed by the public display of the final list of candidates and polling stations.
