Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Kurukshetra former CM and current Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Karnal and state BJP chief Mohanlal Badoli in Sonipat celebrated the victory by sharing jalebis with party workers and supporters.
Double Engine Government in Delhi
BJP‘s victory in Delhi is of great significance to Haryana as leader across the state addressed the long-standing water dispute with Delhi. While addressing the media and celebrating BJP‘s victory Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini again attacked former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations about Yamuna water pollution by stating that "People of Haryana will never poison its holy water." CM Saini also emphasised that BJP's double engine government would ensure Delhi 's development and resolve its water crisis with promising clean water supply to every resident of Delhi.
End of 'AAP-da' Era
BJP's Chief Mohan Lal Badoli coined a new term 'AAP-da' (combining AAP with 'aapda', meaning disaster) to mark the end of AAP's rule in Delhi. Leader's stated that the people of Delhi have rejected the free politics and corruption of Arvind Kejriwal‘s government.

Union Minister Khattar used the Hindi proverb "Kath ki handi baar-baar nahi chadti" (a deceitful trick doesn't work repeatedly) to describe AAP's defeat. Khattar took note of Congress's continuing decline by stating it had "lost its relevance." The leaders promised that the BJP's victory would usher in an era of better governance and development for Delhi through coordinated central and state efforts.
