
Haryana’s Power and Transport Minister Anil Vij has escalated his criticism of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini by bringing internal party conflicts into public view. The senior leader who has been elected MLA seven times has raised serious questions about the party loyalty and the administrative functioning.
Minister Anil Vij takes to social media platform X to expose what he claims is questionable loyalty within party ranks. He particularly pointed to Ashish Dayal who identifies himself as a close friend of CM Saini. Minister Vij posted pictures revealing that the workers seen with Dayal during assembly elections were also spotted supporting BJP opposition candidate Chitra Sarwara which raises serious questions about internal sabotage.
The frustration of Anil Vij extend beyond party politics to administrative matters. Anil Vij has suspended his regular "Janta Darbars" (public meetings) by stating that officials do not comply with his directives. Anil Vij has threatened to launch an agitation against his own government if the development works in his constituency Ambala Cantonment is impeded.
During a recent visit to Rohtak, Minister Anil Vij responded to CM Saini‘s reference to him as a senior leader with a statement: "Everything can be taken away from me but my seniority cannot be snatched, I have been elected MLA for the seventh time." Anil Vij further stated his independence by noting that while he hasn’t taken an official residence, he maintains only an official Car , and even that can be replaced as his supporters have offered another car if necessary.
The minister's statements, grew out of frustration reflects deep rift within Haryana’s BJP leadership which potential potentially impact the parties, unity and governance. In the state the party 's high command hasn’t yet responded to these developments officially but the situation continues to draw attention from political observers and the public around the state.
