75 Haryana Youth to Participate in National Youth Festival in Delhi

In a significant ceremony, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off Haryana's 75-member youth delegation for the upcoming National Youth Festival in New Delhi. During the event, which will run from January 10-12, these young representatives will showcase Haryana's talent and cultural heritage on the national stage. The Chief Minister's confidence in the delegation stems from the state's impressive second-place finish at last year's festival in Nasik, Maharashtra.

Building on Past Achievements

Haryana's reputation as a powerhouse of youth talent has been well-established across various domains. The state has consistently produced outstanding performers in sports, competitive examinations, and the armed forces. This success reflects the state's robust support system and the inherent capabilities of its youth population. As CM Saini noted, "Wherever Haryana's youth go, they plant their flag of success." 

Government's Comprehensive Support

The state government's commitment to youth development is evident in its multi-faceted approach. Having already provided government jobs to 1.71 lakh youth through merit-based recruitment, the administration has set an ambitious target of creating an additional 2 lakh employment opportunities. Beyond employment, the focus extends to skill development, entrepreneurship training, and creating pathways for international opportunities. 

Haryana's youth development strategy encompasses education, skill enhancement, and self-employment promotion. The government has implemented various schemes to transform job seekers into job creators. This includes providing financial assistance for startups, skill development programs, and creating an ecosystem that supports youth aspirations in multiple sectors.
