In a fiery speech at his final rally for the Haryana state elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of being addicted to deceit and being the biggest anti-Dalit party in the country. The rally, held near the Gadpuri toll plaza on National Highway-19 in Palwal, saw Modi highlighting the achievements of the BJP government while painting a grim picture of Congress rule.

As reported by The Haryana Story, the Prime Minister's address touched upon various issues, from corruption allegations to promises of development, in an attempt to sway voters ahead of the upcoming state elections.

Congress: A Party of Brokers and Sons-in-Law

Modi didn't mince words when he accused the Congress of being a party that benefits only brokers and sons-in-law. He claimed that during Congress rule, middlemen and relatives of party leaders became wealthy at the expense of the common people. The Prime Minister contrasted this with the BJP's direct benefit transfer schemes, stating that thousands of rupees now reach farmers' bank accounts directly under BJP rule.

False Promises and Deception

The Prime Minister accused the Congress of making false promises in Himachal Pradesh and now trying to sell similar lies in Haryana. He urged voters to remember the unfulfilled promises in neighboring states and warned them against falling for Congress's deceptive tactics. Modi emphasized that while the BJP focuses on hard work and delivering results, Congress politics revolves around empty promises.

BJP's Development Agenda

Highlighting the BJP government's achievements, Modi spoke about various development initiatives in Haryana. He mentioned the extension of the Metro to Ballabhgarh and plans to connect Palwal as well. The Prime Minister also emphasized the focus on developing the entire Braj region and transforming Palwal into a highway hub.

The Anti-Dalit Allegation

In one of his strongest accusations, Modi labeled Congress as the biggest anti-Dalit party. He reminded the audience that Congress had twice defeated Dr. Ambedkar in elections and even refused to hang his portrait in the Central Hall of Parliament. The Prime Minister assured that as long as he is in power, the reservation rights of SC, ST, and OBC communities would be protected.

As the election campaign reaches its final stages, Modi's rally in Palwal seems to be a strategic move to consolidate BJP's position in Haryana. The Prime Minister's focus on development, coupled with sharp criticism of the opposition, sets the tone for what promises to be a closely watched state election.

The Haryana Story will continue to bring you updates on this developing political scenario as the state prepares to cast its votes.
