The Congress party has released its third list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, announcing 9 new candidates on Sunday (September 8). This brings the total number of candidates declared by the party to 41. The party had earlier released two lists of candidates on September 6. The first list included 27 sitting MLAs and 31 candidates, while the second list included one MLA. The party has declared a total of 41 candidates so far.
The list includes several prominent faces, including wrestler Vinesh Phogat, former CM Bhupender Hooda, who is facing an ED case, Surinder Panwar, Dharam Singh Chhokar, Rao Dan Singh, and MLA Mamman Khan, who is accused in the Nuh violence case.
The Haryana Assembly elections will be held on October 5, and the results will be declared on October 8.
