This unofficial list includes notable names such as Chief Minister Nayab Saini, Gopal Kanda, Savitri Jindal, Shruti Choudhry, and Aarti Rao. The list also claims to bear the seal and signature of BJP Secretary and Office In-charge Arun Singh. 

However, BJP's state media in-charge Arvind Saini has dismissed the list as fake. This incident highlights the high levels of speculation and interest surrounding the party's candidate selection process. 

Party's Ongoing Deliberations

Despite rumors that 55 names have been finalized, the BJP's official candidate list remains unreleased. The party's state election committee has held three meetings in Gurugram, followed by a central election committee meeting in Delhi. These continuous meetings suggest that the party is carefully considering its choices for each constituency. 

Sources indicate that Home Minister Amit Shah has asked party leaders to do fresh homework on all 55 names. This includes conducting surveys, gathering feedback, and analyzing caste equations in each constituency. The party is also reportedly waiting for the Congress party's first list before finalizing its own, to better adjust its caste calculations.

The BJP received a boost with the recent joining of former minister Devendra Babli, along with former jail superintendent Sunil Sangwan and ex-JJP district president Sanjay Kablana. These additions to the party are expected to strengthen its position in certain areas of the state.

However, the party also faced some setbacks, with former MP Sanjay Bhatia declining to contest the assembly elections. This follows a similar decision by state president Mohan Lal Badoli, raising some questions about the party's strategy.
