Group D Employees Without Salary for 5 Months

The Haryana Story has uncovered a shocking incident of government apathy, where over 2,600 Group D employees, appointed in March 2024, are yet to receive their first salary. Despite joining five months ago, these employees are forced to run from pillar to post to get their paycheck. The government's inaction has sparked anger among the staff, who are threatening to stop work if their demands are not met. 

According to sources, only 262 employees have received their pay so far, leaving the rest to struggle for their livelihood. The verification process, which is mandatory for new employees, has been delayed, leaving the employees in the lurch. 

The employees, who were appointed under the sports quota and ex-serviceman quota, are facing a tough time making ends meet. They have been forced to take loans to sustain themselves, and their families are suffering due to the government's apathy. 

The employees have submitted a memorandum to the Bahadurgarh SDM, demanding immediate action to release their salaries. They have also threatened to stop work if their demands are not met, which could lead to a crisis in government services.
