• Interest-Free Loans for Women Dairy Farmers: In a landmark move to support women’s participation in agriculture, the government has announced interest-free loans of up to ₹1 lakh for women dairy farmers. This will boost rural entrepreneurship, increase dairy production, and improve household incomes.
• New Horticulture Policy: The state has unveiled a comprehensive horticulture policy to enhance production, processing, and export of fruits and vegetables. By promoting high-value crops and advanced farming techniques, Haryana aims to strengthen its position as a leading horticulture hub.
• Air Cargo Facility for Agri-Exports: Recognizing the potential of Haryana’s agri-produce in global markets, an air cargo facility is being set up at Hisar airport. This will provide farmers with direct access to international trade, ensuring better prices and reducing post-harvest losses.
• Cow Sanctuaries for Sustainable Livestock Farming: A step towards promoting sustainable animal husbandry, the government is establishing cow sanctuaries in every district. These will serve as centers for breed improvement, organic manure production, and ensuring animal welfare.
• Enhanced Irrigation and Water Conservation: With a focus on sustainable water management, Haryana is investing heavily in micro-irrigation projects, rainwater harvesting, and canal modernization. These initiatives will optimize water use efficiency and support climate-resilient agriculture.

Boosting Rural Economy: Infrastructure and Employment

• Village Infrastructure Development: Improved road connectivity, rural electrification, and digital infrastructure will be expanded to enhance market access for farmers and agri-entrepreneurs. 
• Global Job Opportunities for Rural Youth: The Haryana Overseas Employment Cell will facilitate international job placements, ensuring that rural youth have access to high-income employment prospects.
• Strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs): By encouraging collectivization, Haryana’s government aims to enhance farmers’ bargaining power, streamline supply chains, and improve access to credit and technology.

Mission Haryana-2047: A $1 Trillion Agrarian Economy

With agriculture playing a pivotal role in Haryana’s economic growth, the budget’s vision extends to making the state a $1 trillion economy by 2047. Haryana’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has grown from ₹4,37,145 crore in 2014-15 to a projected ₹12,13,951 crore in 2024-25. The per capita income has also surged from ₹1,47,382 in 2014-15 to an estimated ₹3,53,182 in 2024-25, reflecting sustained economic progress.
