Kaithal District Stands Top in Haryana's Good Governance Rankings

Kaithal has emerged as the leader in district-level governance, followed by Fatehabad and Jhajjar in second and third positions respectively. The awards ceremony is scheduled for today in Gurugram in which district representatives receive recognition from Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Key officials who have contributed to their respective governance achievements will represent each district.

Flagship Scheme Category

The housing sector has shown remarkable performance, with the Mukhya Mantri Shehri Awas Yojana securing first place in the State Flagship Scheme category. The Tohana Paddy Stubble Management Project has earned second place, highlighting the state's commitment to addressing agricultural challenges. The Haryana Project Monitoring System (HPMS) portal, designed for tracking high-value projects, secured third position. 

Departmental Innovations 

Several departments have been recognized for their innovative approaches to governance. The Haryana Mines and Geology Information System leads the state-level awards, while the NIPUN Haryana Mission Monitoring System secured second place. Special recognition has been given to initiatives like Ambala Municipal Corporation's Monthly Pass System and the Waste to Wonder Park.
